Your Cell Phone Can Save Lives.
I lost my grandfather to cancer in 2005. He died 3 months after he was diagnosed.
I still miss him.
He said to me when I was in my teens: “If you need anything, Jason, anything – you call me and I will help…
I promise that I will always love you no matter what.”
I cherished spending time with my grandpa – afternoon tea, dinner or cards. (He was a master at canasta.)
When I would sit next to him, he would always pat my hand.
I can close my eyes and imagine the warmth of his giant hand on mine.
Masculine. Powerful. Lovingly.
Here I am, 17 years later, and I am getting choked up and teary eyed thinking about my Grandpa.
When he was diagnosed with cancer…
I felt ….
My entire family felt ….
Helpless.
Hopeless.
I hated not knowing ANYTHING.
Treatment?
Medicine?
COSTS?
And that is why I started Cells for Cells: To help families battling cancer.
We want to help families who are going through that same experience today.
If you feel helpless or hopeless please know that there is help.
There is hope.
Cells for Cells raises money for families battling cancer through recycling
My goal is to provide a little pat on the back and to say, “We went through that too and we know how you feel, we are thinking of you.”
I’ve raised tens of thousand of dollars for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and other Cancer Charities through my company Cells for Cells.
I’ve worked with Red Bull, Pepsi, Harley Davidson, Helzberg, Boulevard Brewery…Law Firms, Banks, Mom and Pop Shops.
